Solano County is rising to the occasion to adapt to sea level rise.
With an extensive coastline and a rich ecosystem of estuaries, Solano is on the frontline of the impacts felt from rising sea levels, groundwater, and flooding.
We are embarking on a collaborative adaptation planning effort to conduct a sea level rise vulnerability assessment, involving cities, county agencies, community organizations, private partners, and more. This effort will inform a Regional Shoreline Action Plan for unincorporated Solano County and the partnering cities that will help our communities prepare and adapt.
This is the Solano Bayshore Resiliency Project.
